These terms apply to this website and to the Acceptable Creatives Contractor Messaging text message program, both operated by Acceptable Creatives LLC (“Acceptable Creatives,” “we,” “us”), a Michigan limited liability company.

Website

The content on this site is provided for information. Our video, photography and written content is our property or our clients’ property and may not be reproduced without permission. Submitting the booking form does not create a contract; work begins only under a written agreement.

Contractor work

Contract work is governed by our Independent Contractor Agreement and the Project Brief for each engagement, not by this page. Where those documents conflict with this page, those documents control.

Acceptable Creatives Contractor Messaging — SMS terms

Program description

Acceptable Creatives Contractor Messaging is a text message program for people who perform contract videography and production work for Acceptable Creatives LLC and who have signed our SMS Consent Addendum. Through the program we send project assignments, shoot dates, call times, locations, gear and delivery details, and schedule changes, and contractors reply to confirm assignments and report back on jobs. The program does not send marketing or promotional messages.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies by project activity. While assigned to an active project you may receive up to approximately 5 messages per day. When you are not assigned to a project you will generally receive no messages.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending and receiving them according to your plan.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we will not send you any further messages on this program. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT or CANCEL. To rejoin, reply START. Opting out of text messages does not affect your contract work with us; we will simply reach you by phone or email instead.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your handset, and we cannot guarantee that any individual message will arrive.

Eligibility

The program is available only to contractors of Acceptable Creatives LLC who are 18 or older, with a mobile number on a participating US carrier. Enrolment is not a condition of being offered work.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Acceptable Creatives LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or the text message program.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and the parties consent to jurisdiction and venue in Wayne County, Michigan.
