Information we collect

When you contact us through this website

Our booking form collects your name, business name, email address, phone number, the service you are asking about, your preferred timing, and whatever you write in the message field. We collect this so we can reply to your enquiry and quote the work.

When you work with us as a contractor

If you perform contract work for us, we collect the information on our Independent Contractor Agreement and W-9 — your name, business name, address, taxpayer identification number, and mobile phone number — along with records of the projects you work, hours submitted, and payments made. We collect this to assign work, pay you, and meet our tax reporting obligations.

When you use the site

Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. We use this to keep the site working and secure.

Text messages

We operate a text message program for contractors who have signed our SMS Consent Addendum. We use your mobile number only to send and receive messages about your work with us — project assignments, call times, locations, schedule changes, and your replies. Message frequency varies by project activity, up to approximately 5 messages per day while you are assigned to an active project. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information collected for our text message program is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers that make our business run, and only as far as they need it to provide that service to us:

Our messaging provider, which transmits text messages on our behalf.
Our website and database hosting provider, which stores form submissions and project records.
Our accountant and payment providers, for paying contractors and tax reporting.

We also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we are in contact with you about the work and for a reasonable period afterwards. We keep contractor records, including signed consent forms, for as long as required for tax and legal purposes. We retain records of opt-out requests indefinitely so we do not message you again by mistake.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing acceptablecreatives@gmail.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us.

Children

This site and our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
