Yes, and it is the single most efficient thing you can do. Everyone is already in one place and dressed for it. An hour set aside during the day gets you headshots, short staff interviews and culture footage that would otherwise take a separate shoot to organise.

On dedicated recorders and lapel mics, not a camera microphone from the back of the room. Speeches are the part clients most often want to use afterwards, and camera-mic audio in a full hall is unusable. It cannot be fixed later.
